Landscape Architecture Intern | Summer 2023
Actively contributed ideas and participated in the design process for parks, land planning, and high-end residential projects, from creating preliminary designs, to compiling final sheet sets, to revising comments. Rendered by hand and used AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup, TwinMotion, and Excel. Attended meetings with clients and contractors.
Projects addressed unique concerns to the coastal Southeastern U.S. such as stormwater management and flood mitigation, coastal native plant communities, and cultural history.
Organized and updated digital and physical libraries for construction details, books, photography, hardscape samples, and office supplies.
Cortona, Italy Study Abroad
Student | Summer 2022
Surveyed, researched, and designed a local site in the hillside Italian city. Analyzed Italian urban planning, garden design, and architecture, and its intersection with history and culture.
University of Georgia’s Founders Memorial Garden
Garden Maintenence Worker | 2021-22
Maintained the historic Founders Memorial Garden on UGA’s campus and indoor plants in the College of Environment and Design, with tasks ranging from planting design; garden maintenance, such as watering, weeding, planting, mowing, and pruning; planning and setting up for events; pond and fountain maintenance; updating AutoCAD files and planting plans; indoor plant maintenance for the Jackson Street Building, Denmark Hall, and the Tanner Building; and more. Trained new hires.
